And, finally, to complete this incredibly eventful Big Stur Weekend, the 4th Big Lunch takes place on Sunday 5th June in the Railway Gardens.  All the usual games and activities will be there, built and supervised by members of Sturminster Newton Rotary, and, of course, family favourite, Camilla the Cow, courtesy of Dikes of Stalbridge.  Face painting, a fire engine, treasure hunt, teas and ice creams, all summed up in the organisers slogan, ‘Bring the kids and a picnic but leave your purse at home’.

Sturminster Newton has a lot going on, so why not come and take a look.  Whether you arrive via the historic six arched bridge or via the Trailway, you’ll receive a very warm welcome.
