Volunteer Organiser Wanted

Operate from home to organise and operate a scheme to help those in rural areas to obtain transport in order that they can access education, training or employment.  The scheme is run by a “not for profit” Community Interest Company (CIC).  Access to a computer and the internet will be necessary and there are opportunities for travel, within the county at your discretion, which will be covered by expenses.  Organising skills and standard computer skills would be a major advantage.  The role would be supported by the Operations Director on behalf of the seven strong board of directors (all volunteers) of the CIC.  Training would be given together with support during the early stages for as long as necessary.  The scheme is based in North Dorset and may also suit those who are not so able to travel as the travel role can be undertaken by some of the directors.

Contact Rural Dorset Wheels to Work CIC at info@rdw2w.co.uk in the first instance.
